<p>The &#8220;destroyed&#8221; parts of the image represent loss:</p>
<ul>
<li>loss of childhood</li>
<li>loss of individuals close to me</li>
<li>And the loss of memory experience by the elderly who the quilt also symbolizes for me.</li>
